I got my first camera when I was 7. Fisher-Price, classic 90s. I've been taking photographs ever since.

I started off photographing for nonprofits abroad in Uganda after college and then moved to Colombia. I earned a Masters in the UK from the London School of Economics; worked in Freetown, Sierra Leone; taught in Madrid, Spain and helped launch a social enterprise, Project Cordillera, in the mountains of northern Perú. Living back in Florida, I freelanced for national news outlets like The New York Times & The Wall Street Journal. In 2021, I joined an international nonprofit news organization as senior photo editor.

I really enjoy meeting people and telling their stories. I think of family sessions, portraiture and weddings as an extension of my photography practice. And it’s such a special part of what I do. Let’s chat!
